Edinburgh Telford College
Overview: Edinburgh Telford College in Scotland was formed in 1968 It is one of the oldest and largest FE colleges in UK. 92% of their students get a job or continue further study. The FE colleges offer both Diploma level and degree level qualifications.

Additional Information: The fees are low as compared to the University approx 5000 pounds a year. This makes doing a course cheaper and more within the reach of a student. The courses mainly focus on vocational and skill development. The college focuses on the softer skill development which facilitate job search for graduates.

Newcastle College
Overview: Newcastle College is the largest in the North East and has more courses in more subjects than anyone else. Our recent Ofsted report praised the College for our high pass rates, very good teaching and learning and outstanding specialist and general resources. 99% of the students went on to get a job or study at a higher level. The college can offer you education and training that is second to none with fabulous facilities and a massive range of courses from night classes to HND and degree level. Many courses combine study in the classroom with work experience to give you the best possible, career-focused education.
Academic Excellence: Newcastle College is awarded Learning and Skills Beacon Status. It was awarded two Centres of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) for Aerospace and Allied Engineering and for Construction by the Learning and Skills Council. Business. Following courses are rated outstanding Business, IT, Hair and Beauty, Health and Care, Performing Arts, Art and Design. The college has outstanding provision for students with learning difficulties and/or disabilities. The College offers 2 year Foundation degrees.

Stevenson College
Overview: The College is located in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland and one of Europes most beautiful cities. It specialises in Career-based programmes provide students with job related qualifications which are highly regarded by employers. They also offer an alternative route into University. Career-based programmes include Higher National Certificates (HNC) and Higher National Diplomas (HND). For international students, career-based programmes can offer a lower cost alternative than studying for a full degree programme at University. Students can study for 2 years at the college and often progress onto a further 2 years at University. Stevenson College Edinburgh has agreements with many Scottish Universities who offer advanced entry onto undergraduate degree programmes. It is often possible to start in the 2nd or 3rd year of a degree course.
Academic Excellence: Mainly career based courses are offered at Stevenson. Advertising, AV Technology, Computer Networking, Photography, Fitness and Business. The College also offers excellent Foundation programme for entry into University.
Additional Information: The course fees are very competitive and allow you to complete a degree at a lower cost compared to studying for a full degree at university. A 2 year HND will cost $5050 per year, often 50% cheaper than at university.
